Candle Care FAQ & Tips

Keep your candle burning evenly and safely with these candle care FAQ and tips!

- Burn candle on an even, heat resistant surface keeping away from children, pets, drafts, and anything else that can catch fire.

- Trim your wick to about 1/4th of an inch before burning each time. We have taken care to trim the wicks to the appropriate height for your first candle burning session.

- Remove any wick trimmings or any debris before lighting or re-lighting your candle.

- It will typically take about 1-2 sessions of 3-4 hours of burn time to create a full melt-pool so don’t be alarmed if there is still some wax on the sides of the jar which is usually minimal.

- Do not burn candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

- We have taken care to test and select a wick that is less likely to “mushroom” (after burning for a longer period of time, the tip of the wick can look like the head of a mushroom and can also bend down into the melt pool), however if slight mushrooming does occur, put out the candle, trim the wick to 1/4th of an inch and remove any wick trimmings/debris before re-lighting.

💖We hope you enjoy your candle!
